Chinese New Year Celebration this Sunday!

CSU’s  Chinese Student Scholars Association (CSSA) is hosting its annual Chinese New Year Celebration Jan 29th from 6:30 to 8:30 pm in the Lory Student Center Main Ballroom.

“The Chinese New Year is a celebration of the rebirth of all creation, of the change that occurs when the old is released and the new is embraced,” CSSA said in a description of its event.

2012 is the year of the Dragon, which represents purity and good fortune. This year is expected to bring big changes and good luck.

CSSA urges students to  “please join us as we embrace the changes that lie before us and release the concerns of the passing year.”

This celebration will consist of various performances including Face-changing, Chinese Kung Fu, traditional dancing and more!
